Edgar Hecheverria

Lic. Edgar Hechavarria Ricardo was born in 1975 in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba. He lives and works in Havana. He graduated in 2003 from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), Havana, Cuba. From 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the collective project Enema (marked by the realization of group performances). He has participated in a number of national and international events such as Havana’s 9th and 10th Biennials (2006, 2009), the 1st Biennial End of the World in Usuahia, Argentina (2007), and 2nd and 3rd editions of Miami International Festival of Performance (2013-2014).
